Nari

28,90

NARI is a blend and derives from the translation of the Georgian word ‘orange’ to testify to the orange identity of this wine.
Our philosophy follows the ancient Georgian artisanal production method in amphora, to which this wine is a tribute.
The vineyard is located at an altitude of 400 metres in San Lorenzo Maggiore. Volcanic, clay and limestone soil, very exposed to the Mediterranean wind and sun. The Falanghina, Malvasia (locally called ‘Cerreto’) and Trebbiano (locally called ‘Grieco’) grapes are selected, harvested by hand and gently pressed to be vinified separately.
Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in earthenware amphora (Qvevri) with a capacity of 1,000 litres, without additives. After 12 months, the base wines are blended and bottled without any fining or filtering.
It is an orange aromatic wine, with an explosion of tropical fruits, pineapple, peach, honey, combined with citrus and white flowers. It is dry, round, with good acidity and a long persistence.
